Ever wonder how to listen in nature?
The natural world has so much to teach us. God is present through wild creation in powerful ways. But we have to go to those places, open in new ways, and learn to welcome ourselves and God. In nature, we can learn as much as - maybe more than - what great books and techniques offer.
Come explore this way of knowing more about God - near home. You need not travel to the desert, climb a mountain, or even drive half a day. You can find self, and be found by God, by embracing nature nearby and opening eyes, ears, and heart in new ways.
This time of wandering will allow you to cultivate awareness. It will help you listen in new ways. It will allow you to process this with others who are also stepping out in adventure and trust. You will enter the woods alone for silence, but do so with a community of seekers. You will explore around you - and within you.
Our time will consist of education and reflection on how to center, wander, and listen; a few hours on your own to explore the wilderness; and a chance to share with others after returning. We will wander rain or shine!
